inverter

Hi guys just after a bit of advice and help .Im. wondering what wattage inverter i will need to power my 19" tv and dvd. Thats all i have to run off it as aerial fot tv is avtex and runs off 12/24v and use stove for kettle. Fitter will be wiring it straight into trucks fusebox (scania rigid) . Any help gladly appreciated as i know always get brill advice. Cheers lads

I use a 12v 300w one from Maplins, it said on the box it can power a TV/dvd combo upto 32", I use mine through the 12v socket, I use mine for my laptop and my aireal, ideally I would like a bigger one for in future but this is working OK for now.

hi anders 300 watt will do for that :sunglasses:

300W is plenty good enough for what you need it for.
24V would be better than 12V for the batteries.

Thanks for reply lads much clearer now was thinking of 24v tango like i said fitter wiring it straight to fuse box wasnt sure if you could run them straight out of 12 or 24v socket as adverts say not advisable forgot to mention running coolbox thru day but this can run on 240 or 12v (aldi one bloody good aswell) if thats makes any diff lads let me know. Cheers again
