Inverter

Morning chaps, was just wondering, if anyone can help. What size inverter would I need to power a 17inch flat screen tv??

300 watt would be fine, that’s what I used on mine :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

You could go as low as 150w but 300w would be better mate

We used these …worked great.

Yep 300w with a 600w surge. I bought a mobitronic by waeco from Lymm about 7 years ago and it’s still perfect. Moral, don’t buy a cheap one.

Thanks for the info men, ill go n purchase one today…

One quick thing - if you can afford a pure sine wave one, it is much kinder to laptop chargers and sensitive electronic equipment. The modified sine wave ones changes constant curve between -240v and 240v to square ‘bursts’ in both directions. For some equipment you can get away with this. For anything sensitive I would spend the extra on something that delivers exactly the same signal the thing gets when it is plugged in at home.
