Am wiring up an inverter via an anderson socket plug in when I need it I was looking to know what size of fuse I would need to have between the batteries and the inverter
Would usually expect a fuse already between the Anderson connector and the batteries if professionally installed - have a look down the back of the battery tray for a small black plastic case on one of the wires.
We would normally put a 300A Megafuse on an Anderson socket installed for general tail-lift use. You don’t want so little it will easily blow it’s more for safety to avoid an outright short than rescuing the inverter from damage.
