Not sure what the point of all this would actually be?
Surely there should be a strong input from drivers on the agency’s books to “accredit them” for whatever reasons they wish. Eg. Prompt wages payment, few last minute cancellations, no quibbling about hourly rates, hourly rates that are better than others in the same client sector, decent and ideally no-cost payrolling, consultants who phone you at good times, etc etc.
Any accreditation given by a client firm is going to just base things on “how good a driver for how little” and that’s about it.
Personally, I’d say if a particular agency “got an accreditation” from say, a client firm, it would be “Hey fellow yard managers - I got this cushy driver from ■■■ agency - and they only charged me £6.50ph for them and after being here over a year - I can tell you their material supplied is ACE!” I’m still not going to offer them a job though, as our regular full timers are on £500pw for a 40 hour week, and I can’t afford it right now.
Who’s the big winner here? Who’s the ■■■■?
YAY! More red tape.
Why don’t the RHA and FTA use their ‘clout’ do actually do something useful for road haulage and drivers? This is just more ■■■■■■■■

More BS more like.
Just another business club. Good practice? Who decides? What about fair practices, what about transparency? What about fair and proper treatment?
What about…
Well you get the idea - self serving rubbish as usual. Award a badge, get a catchy slogan and all will be alright with the world

Because both organisations are only interested in large (i.e 35+ trucks) hauliers. They certainly aren’t remotely concerned with the interests of drivers.
Self-created jobs for the suits network. Meaningless and parasitic once again.
