I don`t care what has been said…But I am with Bob and good on him for telling you, I usually have an outburst of tourettes when I see this…And thats when I am in the car!
Tell everyone what they need to know and how the world would be according to me, makes for lower blood pressure and anger directed and offloaded in the correct direction with immediacy :sunglasses:

Power to Bob :sunglasses:

Lol…I love it that people have such important lives that 5 minutes causes them such distress!

Nice try convincing yourself that getting so wound up you have to vent is a healthy pastime!

Au Contraire…I do have an important life and getting more important as each minute ticks by.
I only have this one life, I am not going to fritter it away like others have and do, they are just ignorant timewasters that inconvenience others in their pursuit of idleness. :sunglasses:

If your life is that ‘important’ that it involves getting stressed over someone taking 5 mins to get a coffee then maybe you are confusing ‘sad’ with ‘important’?

Life is way too short to get stressed over such a trivial matter!

Well i must admit that those people who dawdle about buying sweets and getting a coffee while others wait do iritate me. That 5 or 10 mins could mean home or not. Well done Bob

Then you also need to take a deep breath and relax…

If your day is so tight that 5 minutes delay causes you stress…maybe you need to plan your day better?

What if, his day planned well, but some tossers (Tosco staff, etc.) F…ks up completely? Bob could pull up, even before po in the shop for this damned cofffee… :open_mouth:

I agree. Worst thing they ever did putting coffee shops in the fuel stations. Just encourages people to waste time and at the end of the day it’s not just 5 minutes is it? If they have 50 wagons a day in to fuel up and each driver spent 5 minutes waiting for a coffee then across the day that is 2hrs 10mins that the pumps have been out of use for. Times that by 3 pump(most services have more) and you’ve got 6.5 hours that the pumps have been out of action.

So next time you’re wanting a coffee either order it when you authorise your card or get a [zb] flask!!

Problem is that if they didn’t sell coffee and other stuff they wouldn’t be there. A friend runs a local garage, and has said they make more profit out of a coffee than they do a car filling a tank full of petrol.

I see your point, but your sums are wrong :unamused:

My sums are wrong I apologise! Did it in a rush last night! But the right sums make it even longer that the pumps would be out of action!!!

Probably so but how long till drivers avoid their garage/services because it takes too long to simply get fuel?! I avoid most MOTO services (especially Doncaster and Wetherby) like the plague because it can take half an hour to get bloody fuel! Ill only use them if I’m desperate and there’s no alternative.

I hope none of you go to cairn lodge for fuel. You might sit behind a wagon for 5 minutes while the driver gets a coffee, only to find out the pump doesn’t work anyway. Out of about 6 pumps your lucky if you have 2 working. Bloody dump.

Saaamon:
Think im gonna put the kettle on…

Coffee 3 sugars no milk

Just wish i could afford the coffee,I’ll have to settle with my water.

reminds me of the golden fleece j42 m6, its a nightmare trying to get on the pumps when you get a few irish drivers together, standing in the shop yakking for ages while the queue builds up outside. theres a lorry park next door, go in there and yak all day…

we all know in the reality of things he will get to his drop and wait 3 hours to get tipped then another 30 minutes to get his pod signed, nature of the job :smiling_imp:

bleedin’ coffee machine at Yodel (Shaw) was out of order again last night, just sayin’

I think some of the drivers on here will be clutching their chests ,if there like this because somebody dared to buy a coffee , whats the world coming to when you have to run in and out of a shop because the time Nazis are boiling red in there cabs. Something about that photo is odd .Why was Bob waiting for you to move of the pumps, when you are in a different lane and sat in your cab taking pictures of Bob

Because in the 5 minutes it took for me to get my coffee and back to my cab, Bob had been able to pull on to the adjacent pump rather than waiting behind me…which is rather the point I was making…his delay was ridiculously minimal but still he wanted to vent about it!

The day I get so annoyed at a 5 minute delay that I wish another driver dead is the day I will walk away from this job.

Some epeople are getting to be a joke with there attitudes towards other for daring to take a few seconds than they should " Pluck em all ". Society has no more patience.

Saaamon:
Think im gonna put the kettle on…

not on the pumps I hope :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

Id of walked back in and signed for his diesel, dropped his card in a bin on the way out.

Carry on holding other people up OP if it pleases you, it’ll happen to you when its least convenient, whether you’ll get or appreciate the irony is debatable.

Glad we’ve got our own pumps so we don’t have to wait for those more equal than others.

Who said owt about getting stressed?
Nahhhhhh, I get all philosophical on their asses, sarcastic, rude, belligerent, weird etc. Whichever way I feel it is best to go once I have got the body language of the oppressor  I turn it into entertainment for myself, a bit selfish perhaps, but when you are a psychotic sociopath, the world is literally your oyster :sunglasses:

Aye carumba :unamused: It takes, I timed it today, an extra minute to grab my Costa from the machine I have to walk past to pay. If you lot seriously begrudge a man a single bloody minute to get a decent coffee inside him and that minute is critical to your day then your doing the wrong [zb]ing job.

I pull off any pump I can do so at before going in to pay but if I can’t then I’m terribly sorry to have inconvenienced you time chomping, fiscally challenged flask monkeys

Got to agree with Billy everyone is in such a rush nowadays. And also a very unfair one sided post and i think very offensive putting a picture of someone on here who maybe cannot reply, and very rude of all the posters who have had a pop at him because of his size. Bob looks a very nice man and quite a happy chap,

How do you know his name is Bob?
