The Japanese one is really interesting. This site is a personal collection of photos of different places which have been abandoned in Japan. It is not one complete island, just different places. The guy who has taken the photos likes photography.
Most of the photos are taken from coal and tin mines.
Some of the buildings are hospitals which have been abandoned and some of the buildings have been damaged due to gas explosions.
