Anyway…Update. The timber company phoned yesterday, and offered me the job. But after doing the sums and realizing the net pay. It wasn’t for me, so I turned it down. Yes it’s hard down here, but I make the same off the agency at the moment (whilst it’s busy) For easier work.
So I’ll keep on mooching. Thanks for the support folks. 
Oh well Mr V, maybe something ‘better’ will come along.
How much was the Pay? I went for an ‘interview’ Yesterday for a ‘van man’ and the pay was only £13500, that’s a small fortune as I’ve not earned ■■■■ all in 6 weeks.

That was about the wage, give or take a few pence! Seems to be picking up a little. A few more vacancies per day are being posted on certain sites. So I’'ll stick to the Amazon/Play.com Express for a few more days.

Went in at 1100 as planned. Met 2 yes 2, just out of school “interviewers”
Anyhoo…Same old questions, what had I done, where had I been? Gave them the answers.
Asked am I scared of handballing timber? So I told them what they wanted to hear. Then they asked what money I was looking for? (Being as it was advertised as negotiable) Told them what I thought was reasonable and what I needed. Then I could see the thoughts in there eyes.(NO WAY PEDRO) They then told me what they were offering and would I be interested?I said I thought the rate was negotiable, to which they said it is after a 3 month trial.
So I said I would give it a bash if they would have me, to which they said, we’ll let you know later today…Bear in mind they close at 5! No word yet!
You’re too expensive for them Vern, don’t hold your breath!
I held my breath for 3 days. Went a weird shade of purple, and their rate never went up. So I left 'em to it. Let the 2nd best have the job!
