Interview with the TM today

It surprises me that a TM does not know the up to date tacho graph rules and regulations…

Like said before, I may of misheard the question.

Harry Monk:
It already sounds like they want you to work more than the legal hours. Next thing, he’ll be showing you where to put the magnet on the gearbox. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s 56, as everybody else has said. And then only 34 the following week, not 56 every week and certainly not 60 every week :stuck_out_tongue:

How do you work that out if your a tramper on a weekly basis?

Do the company help in making sure you don’t go over it and gives you a few drops

Well I don’t know if the company SHOULD keep an eye on that or not Micky, I am of the opinion that a driver should take responsibility for his/ her driving hours. I reckon that the bods in the office probably have enough on their plate without having to wetnurse x amount of drivers.

Personally I write down my driving hours on a dail basis and if I think I might be running close to max by the end of the week I inform them a day or two in advance so they can plan around it. After all it is our reponsibility.
