Evening folks,
As the title of the thread suggests I have an interview with an agency tomorrow, its for warehouse work but they know I want to be a lorry driver so it will put me in good steed if I can get a good work record with them with the warehouse work it will put me in line for any hgv work once I have the correct licenses…Anyway I’m just wondering what I should take also what I’m probably going to be expecting, I’m assuming to go in smart work gear in case they ask me to start on the day as the job at hand is for an immediate start?

I would take some distrust and suspicion. 
Just turn up. It’s not an interview, just form filling.
Agencies in general are scumbags Jonny, read the smallprint for everything you sign!
first question is which agency? If you search the forums here you will see the general opinion of agencies is not very high! In fact most are not going to deliver whatever they promise! As has already been said distrust and suspicion, and don’t be fobbed off by the agency rep. as they are on a commision usually just to get you on the books. Good luck and keep looking for full time and knock on some doors and send some emails and letters on the off chance.
Thanks for the advice and I know what folk are on about when it comes to not trusting agencies as far as people can throw them as I’ve already had my dealings with an agency prior to this job but whilst it brings home some money I’m not going to complain.
The agency is GK Personnel based in Featherstone I think, they asked me to go to their office tomorrow after I rang them this afternoon so I’m assuming the job I’ve enquired about is needing people starting on it asap. But as folk say it’s easier to get work when you’re in work sometimes

don’t worry,just turn up,agency’s will give anyone work because if you balls up you aint got no rights and they just wont ring you again.same as if the work drys up they dont pay you,it’s win win for them.
