Bit of a sweeping negative statement/opinion on experienced drivers mate! :open_mouth: , So I imagine that the new generation, green, probably scruffy as well, knowing nothing, but THINK they know better than you types, going along and unquestionably knuckling down with no resistance, to such a load of superficial corporate unadulterated bull. sh WILL be applying, So there! na na na na na!!!

I suspect that this is the kind of driver most likely to be put off by the job description… assuming he could be bothered to read it

Mastesallan what you want to do if you go for interview is have a succession of questions ready for them so when they ask have you got any questions you can ask yours see how much they really know about haulage industry.

Some transport managers i’ve met in this modern world, are former uni graduates with degrees who got a job as a planner, didn’t know how far it was from one place to the other, then the company paid for their CPC and promoted em…They have no idea or understanding of haulage, at least some Ex Forces blokes have been drivers and understand the job, some not all though.

Jeez, walk away now. What a load of ■■■■■■■■.

Modern age now you know. Forget work experience, learning your trade, climbing your way from the bottom to the top. All you need now is to leave uni with a degree and your automatically experienced :unamused: :unamused:
