Hello HGV/ LGV lads I’m pleased to say I passed my test at Brakes yesterday after a huge questionary and a driving assessment!!! It was a easy mercedes manual straight 6 speed with an R for RaCe… Ups!!! ReVeRsE! Lol, they seem a very friendly and helpful bunch, they told me, depot director came across by coincidence and told me " congrats, you just won a ticket to an hard place to start lol but once you get used to, you will love it! " anyways either way I’m feeling blessed having my very first truck job on a big company, I think it’s not bad for a newbie to get some experience!

I won’t nick, it’s still a very unknown market for me, but in meanwhile it’s good to build up my driving hours so I get the experience required to move on and open new doors [emoji4]
Brakes has a reputation for being hard work. But it’s start and will help build up experience.
All the best with it, Pete
I work for a similar sort of set up where 15 drops in a class 1 per day is the norm,is it hard work?yes sometimes, but as a grown man I don’t see why anyone would refuse a job because it’s “hard work” unless you don’t wanna break a nail it something
Congrats fella ,once you get your own way of working it will be a doddle.
If you can handle doing work for Brakes then nothing else should phase you.
ckm-are your wagons red and cream?

Didn’t realise you were so influential sending the Prime Minister to ckm’s abode
He might need somewhere to live after next month.
Ckm has some room in his garage, and will let him wash the car for minimum wage.

Not if that clown Milliband gets his way. They all talk ■■■■■■■■.
Anyway Goldilox, seen as its beneficial for tax reasons, lets get married.
The timing’s not quite right; do you have many cd’s and a dog? Just thinking ahead…
