Got an interview on Monday folks for a general haulage job (tramping) If successful it will be a start within the week,not wanting to tempt fate but obviously I have to have one eye on getting some gear together the usual stuff,but not used a satnav for 3 years so wondered what were the best ones out there for our trade…In the past I used a cheap navman in conjunction with truckers atlas bridge map etc…

Tomtom 520/530 and then truck navcore / maps is great and cheap.
BUT, until you get the job, don’t buy anything, the way you did it in the past still works until the wages are in the bank
