Interveiw today

I went for a interveiw today for a skip / roll off on driver in my local area
Its been a 12 years since i did this kind of work.
I think i have come to a stage in my life where i dont want to be out all week i want normal hours and to sleep in my own bed and the thing is i wont be any worse off.
The hours are 0700 to 1700 mon to fri , Sat morning is over time if you are up for it
i have to wait till monday evening before i will know, i hate waiting lol :laughing:

Good luck with the job, one of my favorite jobs on agency was skip work, one of the perks being you could have rummage in the skips for treasure :smiley:

I always enjoyed doing a bit of hook load (DROPS for the Army boys…) skip work. Potter around in your own little world, nice autosheeter to save you getting your hands dirty. Just got to watch those overhead phone cables :laughing: :laughing:

Yes mate your right
back in the early 90s when i past i loved doing n/out i use to do 5 every week but as you get older you need your creature comforts and as you say just walking the dog when you get home from work is nice i allways say if you start work monday and finish friday evening and you have 4 nights out then your at work 24/5 even when your on your bunk a sleep your at work :laughing: :laughing:

Dear Adam,

I am sorry I did not call yesterday as promised, I had to meet with a colleague before the final decision was made and did not catch up with him until very late. Although the position was not advertised, we had 3 outstanding applicants including yourself. One of them worked for us previously and left to work for himself. Due to the economic climate, self employment proved a struggle and he wishes to return to a regular job. As he is “tried and tested”, we are going to offer him the job. Unlucky, but at least the guy took the time to write a complimentary letter to you, not something many people would do if at all. You should put where you are form in you profile then people can post if they know of anywhere hiring.

hi mate, have you tried the northampton area at all, theres stobbies at crick, ND are somewhere in that area too, there are lots of RDCs in that area, perhaps someone from that area can advise you, be nearer to you too than FX
good luck n dont give up mate something will turn up but jan feb march are always a bit grim

Thats what i thought cant wait for that to open up in aston clinton but at the moment they are having problems with the locals :unamused:
