Hello guys,
I currently work as an software consultant in the IT industry but I am looking to get some hands on experience in running a haulage firm.
I have a small haulage (fleet of 7) company outside the UK that is managed by someone else on my behalf. I will like to start running the company myself in the near future hence why I am looking for an internship.
I don’t expect payment for this opportunity and will be open to paying you for any inconvenience it might cause your company.
Please let me know if you can help or if you have any suggestions.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Fola.
You already have your on haulage company…
Yes but I am just a majority shareholder (passive investor) in one. I don’t necessarily know how the business works.
The analogy here is - someone that owns a car but doesn’t know how to drive it.

In which case, take it into a field and play with it

Couldn’t have put it better myself.
What is the name of the company?
think if your intending to run your company in the future then now is the time to get stuck in and know how it works, good, bad, warts an all cos theres no substitute for hands on experience. then if its not what you thought it would be you can withdraw your share and invest it somewhere better, good luck with it, hope it works out
With a name like fola has own haulage outside the uk but has nothing to do with it and wants to work with someone else good way to make some good contacts in the uk for company 2 posts no offence but this has got to be a wind up
