Basically it is rigid based lorry converted in to a bus, it is kitted out with all the equipment to travel in North and South America, UK to the Far East via the Middle East or circumnavigate India or other countries.
Have you thought of doing it ?
Africa or the Silk route to Nepal.
Food and expenses provided but wages, you won’t be rich, but rich with experience and meet passengers from all walks of life.
Drivers start off as probationary apprenticeships, for half a year, mechanical tuition, how to repair the vehicle when no help is hundreds of miles away .
After that, you are a co driver to learn the routes to do it on your own one day .
Makes a change to multi dropping on the tedious M6 .

I know the company you are referring to and although it wouldn’t be in the stars for me I did look at their website a couple of years ago and it said something like “While we are an equal opportunities employer, it should be noted that the majority of our drivers are under 30 years old” which I read as a coded message saying “If you are over 30 then you can ■■■■ right off” :stuck_out_tongue:

Found it, it’s Dragoman.

I see what you mean about under 30s but I’ve just bought a truck to do this sort of thing when I retire.

how much you pay for Ferry from Continent to Continent? and how you do MOT everywhere?

Good point about the Mot Immigrant but they have many vehicles going back and forth, so would do a changeover to get it back to the UK.

About $1500 freight only for a truck from North America to Europe plus your air fare. Where I live; trucks used as accommodation are exempt from annual testing.
