Hiya …i had a few nights out in the 80’s with a chap called Roger Ross, he was on for Interland. i think he
stayed home for a while driving tippers in Ireland. seemed a nice chap and good for a laugh

That would be Roger Ross from Newton Stewart in Scotland, Ran back from Hoff with him one trip when I was Driving an Andy Wallace 2800 Daf.
Sub-contractors used to come into Maltby to load Belfast and Derry pulling Interland trailers and I remember how ropey the trailers were.

at the time he had a F12 with a high speck leather interior
