this makes interesting reading on the hours an American driver can work, and guys think we have long hour :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Wildfire, now go look at the Canadian HOS, you’ll be even more surprised. :open_mouth:

There are no HOS for Canadian Drivers that stay within 150kms of base.

You can earn a good few $$$ at $25ph on a job like that

Newmercman, don’t know about your province but in Alberta, the 150km radius, are bound by the same hrs as long haul.

Not in MB, well you don’t need a log book anyway, so that’s the same as having no rules

All we have to do if we do city work is log it on line four all the time we are working, but our local guys don’t have log books at all AFAIK

We don’t have log books but we have these sheets we printed off the Gov website, if stopped by plod we have to show driving time, other work & breaks.
We only do it to cover our asses should something go wrong.
