just finished reading article in truck mag regarding new and old type actross that intake transport are running, new one seems a good bit of kit, well specked up too, got to thinking, lot of money spent per truck, is it at the expense of driver wages with that company, ■■?
ask geepir on here as he is the driver in the article, cant see john or richard making drivers pay for there own lights n things (well they didnt when i did a stint for them)
There was news a while back that Intake introduced a fuel surcharge on all their transport contracts & said goodbye to those customers who would not agree to it so I would say they are now a solid and reliable firm who won’t go bankrupt anytime soon & will continue to serve their loyal customers for many years to come hence the right kit for the job.

Was talkin to one of there drivers last week in birmingham sounded like they was salaried good money though from what he said. Had a sit in one of the 13 reg mercs looked a very nice bit of kit very impressive.
