I need to get my new wagon insured in order to pick it up and tax it but my insurance co have come back to me and because I only have 4 payments left on my existing policy the addition of this vehicle is going to raise the monthly payments considerably as its on a pro rata basis. Just wondered if any operators of more than one vehicle insure them all together or use a couple of different providers?

You need to move to a mini-fleet policy now with more than one truck, you will probably be able to put your car and any other vehicles on. Do you use a haulage specialised broker?
Have you checked your existing policy doesn’t cover you? (I’m assuming if you’re collecting it your other truck will be parked up)
Also just because the insurer won’t put the new vehicle on the MID database won’t mean it’s not insured but obviously invites getting pulled over these days.
