if you have broken thumb and been treated by plastic surgeon etc they say not allowed to drive as insurance void for employer ,anyone experienced similar
Have they actually told you not to drive?
yes
If they have stipulated that you can’t drive then the insurance co wouldn’t be best pleased if you had an accident… I’m a bit surprised though if it’s only your thumb.
yeah its awkward moving stuff etc would imagine strapping curtains etc would be hard ,got to have splint fitted monday week and go for handtherapy so not to sure
Any idea how long you “banned” for, roughly?
4 weeks minimum or until fully repaired as it was severed and has mutiple breaks

Ouch!
To be honest I’d be looking at following their advice regardless of any insurance worries, it’s your thumb & if you ■■■■ it up you can’t buy another.
At least it’s the right time of year for 4 weeks off
if you have been told not to drive by a medical professional then don,t as in case of any incident where an insurance claim is made and ins company find out it will cause problems, even if your employer say its fine get it in black and white,

Future Brother in Law is here for a visit , he is still a cop , ex traffic bike cop.
Its a nick according to him as you are not in safe total control of the vehicle as you cannot hold the wheel safely with both hands.
Enjoy the sunshine !!! Joke.
