I think it would only be game over if you informed dvla/Swansea, I know people who drive that shouldn’t including an alchoholic.
Not to long ago an HGV driver killed people near Glasgow and was found to be a junkie/methadone for around 20 years.
So I guess the ball is in your court depending on your age etc for medicals as I guess it will come out in time, then again if its your doctor that knows your diabetic and you don’t use them for your medical and tick ‘No’ in all the relevant boxes… I think that’s where the loophole is unfortunately (in some cases)
