Anybody know anything about Brinor, I know its tilts and based at Felixstowe, but not been around Felixstowe for a couple of years so not heard anything about the company.

Yep, they are still going. Look at their site:

Saw a couple of theirs a few weeks ago

Thanks for the replies, I really wanted to hear from anybody who had any dealings with them as I’m interested to know if they are a good bunch to work for.
Agency work pays well, but I hate not knowing when I’ll work and not having a regular truck.

I had the chance to work for Brinor in the late 80’s but turned them down 'cos the money was bad.The answer I got from Manfred Behr was that I could make up my money by selling tax free beer and tobacco in the UK!!

Most of their work then was Germany and a bit of Austria, the tackle was always well looked after and fairly new.

They never have had many trucks of their own,I only remember the two F12’s they had in Felixstowe, but they did have quite a few subbies.
One of which (who will remain nameless) had about 5 trucks on for Brinor and used to get paid weekly by Brinor.Until one day he just disappeared, along with quite a lot of money! Turned out he hadn’t been paying tax or NI for the drivers who worked for him and he owed the leasing company a lot of money too.
There are still a few guys with long memories waiting to catch up with him!

Still see Brinor liveried trucks on the continent,DAF XF’s and the odd FH12,but whether they are owned by Brinor I don’t know.
