Some agency rang & said they’d seen my details on line , so did I want to tramp doing max hours for a company out of Lincoln , 2 drops a day , flats , tautliners or 7 drops a day for a company out of tuxford
.neither are of interest , just wondered who they were

Tuxford : the only 2 companies I can think of are Markham moor transport and Griffin freight services.

I think Walker and Sons are based at Tuxford, I’ve seen plenty of their units around the Newark area.

The reason I mentioned Griffin is that a few years ago I did a week there on agency, the work then was predominantly pallet network stuff, which might explain the 7+ drops a day. Recently I have seem them hauling concrete sections and lintels on flats. I suspect that this work is subcontract stuff from walkers
