Fowler. Welch be lucky to get 300 pounds a week for five days work. They don’t pay for lunch breaks, so end up deducting £45 off your money

Fresh service last year was £7.50 an hour up to 50hrs and £11 after with a £65 “bonus” paid every week for days, it was more for nights. Going to pack houses and RDC’s mainly, daily runs to Lidl in Belvedere and Northfleet with Bananas. Even if your working out of Paddock Wood you’ll be going to the main depot in Dartford a lot. They have new Volvos which are well looked after.

I thought that was the “sheds with beds” rate?
F&W via agency has you working a flat shift - if there’s overtime payable after 8 hours OR 15 hours starting pm - if it’s a right-through rate. If you start work in the afternoon - you don’t get the night rate either.
A lot of the work is running into farms to pick up produce (plenty of sheds with beds there too!) or running to depots like Gomez at Bridge, near Canterbury.
I used to run out of Teynham and would often find myself swapping trailers at Paddock Wood, near the railway station…
Insist on £12ph when on agency. If it’s paid at night rate - you’ll get that.
