Info Needed Please

Evening all

I hope some of you can help.

Now that January is upon us, I have decided - finally - to go for my Class 2.

A friend of mine works in Class 2 for a company in a different county to me and his job sounds great.

He works days, mon-fri, very reasonable start times, a decent wage and with the occasional late night - who could grumble with that?

The bit that’s got me is that his company closes down over Christmas. In my current role I choose to forego a lengthy summer holiday so that I can have Christmas as my main break. I need to travel to see family etc.

Do any of you know of any lorry-driving companies in the KENT area that close down for Christmas? Or at least are flexible about allowing you to take decent leave at Christmas time?

Any info is much appreciated.

You want something in the building trade, as it is traditionally quiet at Christmas time, so taking time off is either mandatory or reasonably easy.
