Inconsiderate? or just trucking?

Just parked up for a few hours waiting to be loaded after tipping (well being tipped…love this job) and seen a row of units facing me with their cab curtains drawn. Then a decker pulls up in front of them and leans on the horn to tell his mate in the truck next to mine its tea time.

Is that a bit inconsiderate or just something to get used to on nights out?

Not a problem for me and Im just counting the pounds im earning doing F.A.

Both :unamused:

The ■■■■■■■■ should have his horn rammed up his…

Hmm, Knob Head are the two words that spring to my mind, or is that just one word!?

It’s normal. :smiling_imp: It’s why I hate people but love my dog.

Not normal, but certainly frequent.

Guy’s a ■■■■■■’ ■■■■■■■■■ and will end up with his face rearranged before too long

No worse than the bloody fridge magnets. We have some reasonably large truckstops out here, but even when I manage to find a quiet spot I can guarantee that as soon as I turn in for the night some ■■■■■■ with a fridge pulls up alongside. They have the mentality of “if I have to listen to it so should everyone else”,morons of the first degree !!

If I stop for the night it’s always in a place where some ■■■■ in a v8 scania with straight pipes thinks everyone wants to hear it doing laps of the parking area at full revs in every gear.

Wait until you see some of the pillocks here jacking off over their Petes,KW’S,Harleys and John Deeres, all ■■■■ products but people luv 'em :unamused:

I soppouse we should be grateful. If they wasn’t getting excited about these things god knows what they would be looking at online.

Their sisters probably

Ha ha ha. Cue carryfast turning up we are a load of leftie poofters and the south will rise again and we will all be petrified of billy joe Jim bob and bubba for taking the ■■■■ out of them.

Sounds like your typical night trunk driver. Ironically, they usually get the hump with their next door neighbour for cutting the lawn at 2 in the afternoon :unamused:

watching a total bell end in a V8 scania with straight thru side exit exhausts in the Q at felixstowe the other day, every time the Q moved up one lorry length he managed to get a gear change in and a blip on the throttle within 60 foot.We was in bits laughing at this total head of a ■■■■ using 3 times more fuel in the Q than the rest of us

It’s funny on the trinity tilt side watching them not let each other in when they should zip merge just to get in/out the gate 2 mins sooner. :unamused:

Knobs with air horns? Such is life.

+1

I encountered one of these drivers at three in the afternoon. I found a space with nothing else within about six bays, the foreigners hadn’t arrived for the night. He parks next to me and gets out and starts walking towards the facilities. I gave him a toot and he came back. I asked if he intended leaving the fridge running and he said, "you’re not sleeping are you’ I replied no but I am having my break. He then turned it off.

Have they not got the brains to realise that the noise from their fridge may be an annoyance to others. Why park next to another vehicle when there is plenty of space available.

I wouldn’t bother to ask a driver to turn off his fridge, because it was upsetting my 45 at 3 in the afternoon. Kind of post I’d expect from topgun
