Been trying to get this on video/dvd,doesn’t seem to be available.
Hasn’t been shown on any of the satellite channels either.
Anybody know where I could get a hold of the series?

i use to watch In sickness and in health, als watched Till death us do part with my parents.
I wouldnt mind a copy of them…bet they were all scrapped as been Politically incorrect material to watch

they made me laugh anyway

I seem to remember reading that the BBC were refusing to show the series again because they considered the show to be racist…
Don’t know if that means satellite tv can’t show them either?
Used to have a load of episodes on tape,but they got recorded over.

The irony is that Johnny Speight, the writer, and Warren Mitchell, who played Alf Garnett, were both lifelong anti-racists (Mitchell was Jewish) and the Alf Garnett character was created and intended to ridicule racists.

you should find dvd/copies somewhere

i have some dvds of love thy neighbour,pure good clean fun and you cant beat it,it done more to expose race problems than any prog of today’s t.v

if mem serves me correct the black guy allways came out on top.
