red, yellow, pink and green, orange and purple and blue.

Anyone remember the song … I Can Sing A Rainbow?

Red and yellow and pink and green,
Orange and purple and blue.
I can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
You can sing one too!

Listen with your eyes,
Listen with your eyes,
And sing everything you see.
You can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Sing a long with me.

Red and yellow and pink and green,
Orange and purple and blue.
You can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Now you’ve sung one too!

Now that I’ve planted the earworm … :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s what I was hoping for too lol

Dont know legalities but it should be banned.
Only recently on a Nightshift tarring, driving some else’s wagon, had to disconnect the power to the bulkhead illuminations.
Couldn’t see a thing for the blue Scania sign reflecting off windscreen.

Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk

With all the reflections it doesn’t allow a clear view to the road, I have to dim my dash lights to see properly

ArcticMonkey:
Was it that 7 and half tonner bed wagon?

Oh and you’ve just grinded my gears been pc. It seems to be quite a modern trend for people on here and radio presenters to always say " he…or she", before long people will be going through every gender they can think of aswell as saying “they” in reference to that mentally ill freak Sam Smith or whatever he’s called

Not a 7.5ton, it was a big mans lorry, sorry for grinding your gears, dont know how I could’ve as you most likely drive an automatic, and I said he/she because the drive had long blonde hair, and we’ve all made that mistake once, lol

Come on op, Far more dangerous, and ignorant practices on the road to be sorted, and secretly you know deep down you’d love a bit of tinsel an fairy lights in ya cab…[emoji8][emoji38]

Correct lol, I’ve just ordered a LED strip to go behind my pin up flag (another thing that ‘grinds’ drivers gears).

I had one of those light up boards on the back wall, for about a week, sold the bloody thing, even on its dimmest setting was too dam bright, reflection on windscreen was awful…

Now on the outside, I’ve got a few LEDs, be safe be seen.

What a narrow minded bigot. :imp:

Narrow minded bigot or merely someone expressing his/her opinion? Where do we draw the line? What gives anybody the right to say where that line is? What qualifies that persons who says where the line is and what is it about their opinion that makes it more important than someone else’s?

There are certain religious practices that I find distasteful or even abhorrent, if I spoke out against them would I be a narrow minded bigot or would I be a person living in a free society merely expressing my opinion?

So many questions, so little time.

To say that you have no interest in, nor wish to participate in something, is free comment.
Wishing to criticise or ban others, from those practises, (so long as no third parties are harmed) goes beyond that.
How can someone demand freedom of speech for themselves, yet simultaneously call for bans on the freedoms others wish to use?
.
@ArcticMonkey
And I don’t think intolerance is peculiar to one political side or t’other.
Be it speech, ■■■■■■■■■, or WTF, left and right wings have blind spots.
.
And on topic…eventually…
I too prefer a dimmed out cab interior. Less reflections and eyes more adjusted to the light levels outside.

Here you go tg, a qualified person saying it how it is

cnsnews.com/news/article/mi … ■■■-change

Congratulations, you’ve found someone to back up your bigotry who is well known within the transgender community including the medical professionals for his outspoken and religious driven views on the subject.
I must ask, how can I take an opinion about my mental health seriously if it comes from an individual who believes he should lead his life based on a book of fables about a magic man who lives in the sky, written by a bunch of men approximately 1600 years ago who’s motivation was wishing to control the masses?

I have known from my first memories that my physical body does not match my psychological make up and I get classed as mentally ill.
I assume you know, (as I’m guessing you’ve done the research and haven’t just come up with your bigoted stance from a position of ignorance and stupidity) that studies on the brains of transgender people have shown that it’s quite usual for a male to female trans person to have a brain construction and function closely matching that of a cis female and not a cis male.

Try this report about the World Health Organisations recently amended view on the subject.

Would you like me to link you to the NHS web page as well which has very similar views and opinions on the subject?

Hi tgtrucker

I’m assuming you’re a transgender going by your username. I personally feel all trans people and these attention seeking folk like sam smith have a mental illness which can be helped by receiving the relevant treatment without the need to change ■■■. It’s one thing if a bloke wants to wear womens knickers on a weekend but these who wish to change ■■■ is repulsive to me and i’m fed up of not been able to have an opinion nowadays without the pc nimbies having a meltdown. You are what you was born with and nothing more. People should be he or she and nothing more

Who’s preventing you from having an opinion and voicing it?
I’m not. Yes I find it repulsive, small minded and bigoted but I do respect your right to hold and voice your opinion.
I do not agree with with the way things are going these days when every small comment can be reported as a hate crime. Acceptance comes through education and understanding, not hitting people into submission with a big stick.
Obviously there will always be people such as yourself who don’t wish to understand or be educated and that’s fine, but I can’t help wonder what makes someone so closed minded when it comes to somebody else just trying to do their best to live a life in the only way they can.

I can see where you’re making a mistake, your confusing trans people with wanna be celebrities most of which live their lives seeking attention, by contrast th vast majority of trans people want only to live their lives away from any spotlights and free from fear or prejudice. It’s a shame you can’t help accommodate them in that incredibly small but significant desire

Should we maybe classify the attention seeking celebrities as having a mental illness? Would that help make you feel a bit more secure in your own identity?

Sorry dad…or mum

Off topic…

Bully’s.

I love this forum  …in cab lighting to transgender issues.

I come from the generation where attitudes to the likes of race homosexuality, transvesties, transgenderism and the like were all different once over, where ridicule was socially acceptable but those of us from that generation who are both grown up and empathic have adapted and changed their views and attitudes.
If I felt like a woman, I often do but never manage to get one… sorry couldn’t resist  , it must be bloody purgatory stuck in a man’s body…I’ m resisting that one btw.
Especially looking as I do, if I tried to look like a woman it would never happen in a million years, which I reckon would make the situation even worse, because like it or not everybody notices.
To simplify my point it’s like a bald bloke walks in a pub, nobody notices, same bloke walks in wearing a syrup and he entertains the whole pub for the rest of the night.
So my attitude is there are lots of things I don’t agree with or understand, but I take a live and let live attitude, and let them get on with it as long as it don’t t affect me…In fact the same goes with those bloody stupid ridiculous light boards stuck in the back of cabs.

Does it really matter, what his/her LGBT status is, I don’t give a feeck what team they wish to bat for… So just move on.

When I was a teenager we called gay men queers, and there was a section of society which liked to end an evening at the pub, by finding one and giving him a good kicking. I thought that we had moved on from there.

Try driving a bus at night along country roads, the reflections are about all you can see.

Yes we have moved on.
We once we’re prejudiced against black people. But we cut back on that and abused brown people instead. Controlling ourselves we realised our errors and now take against those with lots of 'z’s 'w’s etc on their names. So we aren’t colour prejudiced any more!
Gays were accepted on the stage for ages. They are now becoming more accepted in sport. Who knows they, and other groups, may be accepted more widely soon?
All we have to do is find another sector of society to demonize, after all, some people are only happy in themselves if they can point to another group they can feel somehow superior to?

Where the ‘line’ is, is wherever the line happens to be nowadays in terms of taste and decency. It seems to be moving constantly.
Minorities are tolerated and respected nowadays in a way that would be un-imaginable to previous generations.
The key word is surely ‘respect’. If nobody’s harming or threatening you, or threatening society in general, why get offended?

It sure seemed to escalate quickly.

When will we get to the stage where Joe Public isn’t prejudiced against the minority that is us?

It’s a trait of the left. Call you names such as bigot, racist and fascist to shut down debate. The irony of calling you fascist is lost on them

But…but what about Jake’s right to hold the opinion that somebody is a narrow minded bigot? And his freedom to express that opinion?

All i said was i thought it was a mental illness been trans/no binary, gender fluid or whatever other word they want to invent tomorrow. If that makes me a bigot then so be it
