I was driving in the left hand lane following diversion from the a30 oakehampton road at 6.55am on the 2nd april 2009 went through the traffic lights about 100 yards there is a FILTER LANE coming from the RIGHT. I checked my mirrors and maintened a reasonable gab with me and the artic in front of me the filter lane had finished when a red car shoots out upside trying to get in front of me.
After seeing the lorry in front and realising he couldnt get in front he slammed brakes on and decided to call me every name under the sun. 300 yards up the road i turned right followed diversion then 3 hour drive home. On return to the yard the gaffer pulls me in hes recieved an email saying i increased speed and cut a car up forcing him into the oppisite side of the road im 100% sure this was not the case as i did all mirrors checks and i wasnt at fault ive recieved a disciplinery for monday for dangerous driving there are no witnesses where do i stand■■?
Advice please from a worried class one lorry driver worried about his job. thanks

Absolutely in the clear.
Tell it like it actually happened - your word against car drivers version - no action, no blame, no penalty.
Unless the company want to be taken to the cleaners.
Oh, and sign NOTHING.
I would not worry, the Tacho will be on your side by the sound of it. 
Your Boss is the prat for arranging a disiplinary from the say so of some numptie in a car without witnesses or any damage.
@djduck make sure that you get written down while it is fresh in your memory all the facts about the incident,
IF a member of the union talk to them, your boss is
not only a prat but must have a low IQ as to take
the side of the car driver without hearing the other sides#version of the story, as pointed out the Tachograph
can show exactly what you was doing and will prove
that the car driver was not not telling the truth as to
what really happened,as posted sign nothing,
