Last night an immigrant was found under my trailer by the quayside checkers (the dog sniffed him out). Has anyone had this happen and am I likely to get the full £2000 penalty?

Nothing should happen, if you have clandestine forms and made a point of checking the trailer. These blokes are getting into the dock area and getting on board in the docks now.
I had two in two days at the tunnel and at the ferry in Calais. I found the one at the tunnel and poked him out with my roof pole. I would have killed him if a Dutch driver hadn’t stopped me. It scared me that I could hurt someone so much.
That particular time. I had been through the scanner so I knew he had got on while I was in the lanes.

Very true Harry, it is every government’s fault for making it appealing for these clandestines to want to attempt to come here and live. We can’t blame them for wanting a better life.
In all honesty, I feel sorry for them. I cannot imagine some of the ■■■■ these people must have had to endure in their lives. All very well Wheel Nut poking them with a roof pole, but consider other things that they may have been abused with in there time. So far, Ive not had any, but no doubt (statistically) it will occur, and when it does, I will remove them from the trailer but probably give them any food I still have left.
Im with wheelnut on this one. I detest them. They will cut your throat as soon as look at you. The immigration officer the other night told me they had gang raped a woman journalist recently who, rather stupidly, went off looking for a story amongst the immigrants. I would not want any of them living near me and my family. I also agree that the blame lies with our government for making this country such an attractive proposition for these people to come to. As for giving them food, while you are handing one of them something to eat others will be in your cab taking mobiles, cameras and anything else they can get their dirty little paws on. Ive had alot of immigrant trouble in the past when red fuel cards had their site on diesel alley ( in the end I changed fuel cards) and they really are not pleasant creatures.

i was speaking to an iraqi sometime last week in a takeaway in our town… anyway i was telling him i’d just got my class 1 and ADR to maybe do some tanker driving, he asked if i’d be going abroad to work … i said i wouldnt mind working abroad like just to get a bit of experience, his face lit up and the cheekey little ■■■■■■ asked if i would like to smuggle some refugees back through to england at up to £3000 a man, “we could make room in the tank”… i spat my pepsi out and asked him if he was all there… he said dont worry my friend if you dont fancy that we could get cigarettes instead i’ll come with you it will be ok,… i just walked off, i couldnt believe it!.. what is wrong with these people!!!
Just to add. I wasn’t proud of what I did. I feel sick when I think of it and I do have a heart. I lived in Africa amongst the downtrodden and the very poor.
I certainly don’t hate them but I was probably more frightened than him

This was discussed on here, she was a spoilt little tart who ignored good advice, lived amongst them & than cried ■■■■!
