Quite a few images are put on a topic, but a warning appears underneath some of them stating that you do not have permission to view these images
i wonder why, maybe someone can answer.
Usually when you’ve not logged in,I think.
If someone is “hot linking” an image from someone else’s server, or web page, they are effectively “stealing” the bandwidth from the server or website owner. (Every time you view an image, it downloads to you’re web browser, which is the transfer of data and chargeable!)
Or it may be the image is on a “protected” page and it’s the page you don’t have permission to access.
There is code you can add to websites and servers to stop hot linking. It normally replaces the image you’re trying to view, with one saying something like; “You’re not allowed to view the image you’ve linked to.”
But then again, it may be someThing entirely different.
I just take a picture of it on my phone then upload it.

It is, as said above, because you have not logged in. It’s just happened to me trying to view another thread.
