Just heard those lovely words from the examiner at Chelmsford! After 3 days of gently worrying about the test, it was quite an anti-climax, a steady drive around Chelmsford & up and down the A12, then back to the centre to be told I’d passed. Just got to wait for the licence back now, and then I can do it all over again with the trailer on the back.
The training was good fun, apart from the little girl who stepped out in front just as we got level with her. It’s quite amazing just how quickly a truck can stop when the handbrake is slammed on! Other notable points were bouncing up and down the kerb, oh and forgetting to put it in gear before trying to pull away on the downhill start.
well done, iam pleased for you, i done my C at chelmsford in jan, and can still remember those words," i am pleased to tell you" good luck with your C+E thats even better than doing C , i thoroughly enjoyed doing it, its a great acheivment driving an artic knowing its doing what you want it to do, well going forwards at least lol .
