Just thought I’d bid you all farewell. As I’m off!
On Tuesday I will be flying from T3 Heathrow for a week in Malaysia to chill, then onwards to New Zealand for 12 months. The plan is to see as much of NZ as possible although I will be working for the majority of the time in order to survive. I have a job lined up… driving!! I can hardly wait, its in the south Island which is the size of England with only one million inhabitants!!! Traffic free km’s!!
I’ll try and keep looking in on this site whilst I’m out there. Perhaps post a anecdote or two whilst I’m at it!
All the best and try to keep us updated on your trip and how the work goes, I for one would be interested in how driving in the two countries compares.
good luck placid mate.i hope it’s all you want it to be.and i hope you got your wellington’s with you just incase you need to service some off them sheep keep in touch and i hope you got trucknets stickers from toytown to spread the good word of the lord.
Good luck Placid, I know you will be impressed with everything. I have my daughter out there, she has married a kiwi and is so happy with her life style. If you are prepared to work hard you will make a decent life for yourself out there. Keep in touch with all of us if and when you can and let us know which area in the south island you will be staying in.
BON VOYAGE
