Does the PANDORA system work at the ports? checking to see if any illegal immigrants have been transported from A to B.
And if you as a driver, what system would you put in place to stop them from getting into this country by your vehicles. 
hi terryw,1st of all welcome to trucknet, no matter what system the goverment put in place or any system that a driver puts in place on his truck will stop people from coming into this country.they will always find a way round the system.you can only do your checks b4 you lock the trailer up and underneath on top extra,but if someone wants on they will get on no matter what you or anyone else does.
let me put that back to you,what would you do to prevent it and is the pandora system working
stop all benefits to everyone in this country unless they have worked and payed taxes for 3 years (except registered disabled but make them have regular checks).
stop all housing of immigrants here and force them to go to charities for handouts etc, get rid of the government pen pushers that have non jobs such as community builders, ethnic outreachers etc.
allow close relatives to help support unemployed through their own taxes.
get rid of the nhs freeby and implement a private care trust that is paid for through either insurance or private payment scheme for a tiered level of service, no funding = no treatment.
once the free living in this country has been taken away only the real deserving cases will want to come here, once the uk becomes similar to france in the way the treat asylum seekers the spongers and free loaders will stay at home or go to a different country to drain their resources.
I have’nt done any driving for the pass few years because of my illness, but I have come up with a system for new vehicles and traliers, but it does’nt meat that olded vehicles and traliers can’t have it.
I can’t say much at the moment because someone is looking at it my idea. We all know that drivers have to check his vehicle its part of the job, but how many get in through the back and break the seal? of the tralier before any driver notices something is wrong.

I agree with that last comment 
If these people didn’t get hand outs so easily they wouldn’t go to the UK.
Before I got my green card or had applied here, If I had gone to any authority and said i needed financial help I would no doubt have been handcuffed, locked up and put on the next plane back to where I came from

sorry to dissagree but when they get over here and see what they can get for nowt,work becomes second to there way of life,take for example
you work,get paid, pay tax,pay national insurance,pay rent,pay council tax,electric, gas water then comes food clothes car beer
you sign on,free house, no tax, no national insurance, no rent,no council tax, and whats left over after saving all that goes on beer,beer,beer clothes and beer,
work ? would you ?
Any alarms fitted to the tralier over here or anywhere to stop them from getting into the traliers?
My trailer is fitted with an alarm and I also do my own checks, I don’t rely on the port checks at all as they are next to useless.

If it was like that nobody would work, they may get a few quid more than the average British person on the dole, but I doubt it’s really worth counting.
when they have come from a country that has paid $100 per month average for working,to here that pays £100 per week + bills,■■? for doing nowt !!
theres only one way to stop illegals getting into or onto your truck at ports and that is down to dock security and the police at the ports,not the truck driver remember there usualy in gangs you are on your own ! so remember if unsure find the nearest copper and get him to look,keep well away they are desperate and will try always to get here !!

Yes I would.
