I wrote a formal request to change jobs a month ago to preserve my sanity and my health ( boss said to put my request in writing ) , I’ve had no comeback about that letter / request , can they just ignore it . Ta
N.b I’ve had phone calls asking how I’m feeling , do I feel better now ,I did loose it that day , but nothing about letter .
What is it you’re looking to change ? You’re still gonna be driving arn’t you ? So specifically what is it, you want shorter hours or summat like that ? Have you seen shorter hours on offer within the place you work for ? You should be aware if you over egg the pudding (not that i’m saying you are ) and say you can’t do the job any more and there is no other openings that are different for you, other than say…a change of scenery, then you’ll sack yourself.
Let me guess though, you don’t want anymore store deliveries with roll cages, you want fridge work ? Did i get it right ? !
They won’t sack you as who’s going to replace you , days of piles of job applicants are long gone .
I’m after trunking , drop and swap , tues- fri , max 12 hrs , 8 hrs max sat , he said put it in writing so I did , and put it on his desk first thing , no feedback on my request and continue with 15 hrs a day and strapping piles of concrete !!

The point is if there is one , are my posts / threads ate all moderated before there allowed to be put up for public viewing so that to me says the moderators are happy for them to appear , Dennis said if there not acceptable then he will consign them to the random crap bin
So if you’ve a issue with my posts then you need to be putting those views to the moderators
But to be honest I read plenty of random crap on here and because they don’t work for stobarts it’s fine , zb hypocrites

It’s fine , it’s just part of working for mib( stobarts , you get abuse for asking for advice work for joe blogs and they’d be falling over themselves to offer advice

I like what ya did there. I often hanker back to the old days when one could go about the job drinking a few cans of cider, with a mate in the truck looking for a brass. And there was no moderation too. Everything has become just so much more complicated nowadays.
