It’s at Abington, after the slip (N). Closed both ways, but you can get onto the A702.

Couldn’t i.d. the location by the pic, but thought it would be there, it is often waterlogged at that slip, seen it a few times, but maybe not as bad as that.

I doubt it will be getting repaired where it is. Building a new alignment through the field will probably be easier.

Just so there can be endless discussions on internet forums from now until eternity of why one motorway has two different numbers for different parts.

Why? Its all motorway from the M8/M77 section all the way to the M6
Its the A74M as it used to follow on from the A74 ■■■■■■■■■■ gap. Since that was upgraded to the M6 extension, you’d think the powers that be rename the A74M to just M74.
Just to confuse things, why does the sign as you exit the weighbridge at Beattock say you are going onto the M6?
