In the why do car drivers do this? thread we pretty much established that traffic on slip roads does not have priority over traffic on the carriageway. If there was no other traffic in sight then it wouldn’t have hurt you to drop off your speed and drop in behind you would it? The other driver probably thought about moving over, decided he would only get hung out to dry in lane two and as the road was quiet knew you shouldn’t have problems joining.

but if he let you out would you have blasted up his inside or dropped your speed off to let him back in. if its the later you could of knocked your speed off on the slip road and pulled in behind, if its the former , ■■■■ it you deserve to run down the hard shoulder.

And we wonder why as hgv drivers we have a bad press,well I guess we all know know,they have seen R500 on the road
Courtesy seems to be a rare thing these days with all drivers.I put it down to selfishness and bad attitudes.
I don’t bother to get stressed about things like this. As an experienced driver I always make allowance for other drivers, in many instances their behaviour is fairly predictable and therefore should come as no surprise.
Another point is when trying to exit a lay-by and no one will pull over into lane two, just one of those things.
Has someone spat their dummy out without reading + digesting the Highway Code again – tut tut such profanity.

Some drivers could do with a few weeks on a underpowered motor with poor brakes , would make them better drivers when they get back on the big power again.

just spoke too my mate who drives for william nicols and he says theres 9 of them across the border tonight, 5 dafs, 2 mans 1 merc and a scania, he says he would have passed jct 35 southbound about 15.30 this afternoon but doesnt remember any fanny in a scania givin him abuse
