If you were an owner driver

Conor:
I’d not worry about the fact they’re barely out of their teens as there’s quite a few young drivers who can drive a whole lot better than some of the old timers about to hit retirement.

And theres equally as many that cant

Oh and to answer the OPs question, i.m more than happy with my Daf S/S i have now, although if money was no object then i would have a 650 Scania, todays rates dont warrant that sort of spending in my opinion though

Punchy Dan:
I’d have a Foden and save the money I don’t spend on the modern pile of poop

After being behind you the other day the front of the lorry needs paintwork due to the chips from flying debris

…what unit would you have?:

What would I have?
An epiphany moment :bulb: …then flog it, and more likely go on to make similar money as an employed driver…and maybe increase my life expectancy by 10 yrs with zero stress.
You’re welcome. :sunglasses:

Yawn

in Fantasy world I’d have a previous generation DAF XF, not the Super Space Cab, but the boxey lower roof one like the blue Punchard’s lorry upthread, there’d be no air deflector kits on it, it’d be deep darth vadar black with no sign writing, and it’d have a stainless Eminox stack, with alloys and super singles on the steer axle, a 16-spd manual, and a large alloy fuel tank.

But in the real world with my business head on, I’d have a bog standard fuel efficient Euro-6 reliable fleet spec workhorse.

They say if you slice Punchy Dan up each slice would have the word Foden running through it [emoji23][emoji23]
