He’s a very talented ‘hands-on’ person…he did a great series on Channel 4 about the industrial revolution…including making a wooden bicycle! You can catch it on 4OD.
We need more like him on the TV!

2500 Nm would be right for the 500 V8 I think…(how sad that I know that!)
He’s pretty handy on two wheels as well!

if i were a betting man, i’d say slightly less, just because its old technology, as he says, only 2 valves per cylinder etc, a mate of mine had a 450 and he couldnt get more than 7 out of that and he nursed it, still kicking myself as he offered it to me for 5k and i said no! someone shoot me!

What ever year L reg was, I wouldve been offered a job driving one of those new, but I didnt ring the guy back coz I thought he wanted me to cover his holiday for him, when next I bumped into him about a month later, he says you’re a hard man to track down, so i apoligised for not ringing back, but he said that the new V8 450 wouldve been mine, but it was to late by then. talk about gutted

I was at Scarborough on Sunday watching him absolutely decimate the opposition. The ones he beat were top names and all quick lads, he made them look slower than they actually are.
