We don’t care if Hilary wants to kill herself, and perhaps there’s little sympathy for her wanting to kill of America in this act of “National Suicide” envisaged.
The problem we have in geographic Europe is that WE have to join her in that suicide pact - because we’re in NATO.
The one scenario that hasn’t been played out yet - is "What if Russia gets nuked first, and then decides rather than nuke out the west - it simply destroys all deployed NATO forces with tactical nukes, and then walks IN to western Europe - to find that the local public are rather Glad they didn’t get nuked and were spared by this more-benevolent-than-expected “invader”…?
Even Revelations when speaking of “Armageddon” talks of "East and Western Shores rather than East and Western “blocs”.
I worry more about America’s actions than Russia’s - put it that way.
This isn’t like the “Soviet Threat” back in the early 1980’s - the “Threads” Era.
This time around, it’s likely to be some idiot at NATO who makes the mistake of nuking some Russian city with it’s “Dead Man’s Switch” already in play.

All it takes is one mis-understanding, One “wrong target” or even America getting itchy fingers without Russia being involved at all.
Our four Trident sumbarines can be destructed by the Americans - should they be deemed to have “Fallen into the wrong hands”.
That, essentially is America’s kill switch on the UK - should we end up “not on the same side” at some point in the future.
I was always in favour of Trident as a deterrant - until I found this out only recently. 
There’s not much point having Trident at all if we get nuked for having it, nuked for using it, and nuked for NOT using it at the target we’ve been ordered to destroy - by the Americans and NATO. 
In any case, those with a real skill set - would prosper in ANY different future to what we’ve got right now.
