If you are off to SW Poland take your snowchains with you

I am not joking, pics from today:

Global warming, they say…

And, according to my friends I am just chatting on-line with, it’s still snowing!

That one’s nice:

That looks fun.

Oh and the key word is GLOBAL warming, not local

The word is now Global Climate Change.
They dropped Global Warming once they realised it wasn’t really warming. :unamused:

I was there just before Xmas in that weather. Life goes on as normal…Even driving lessons were continuing. Right Orys? :open_mouth:

Yeah

I remember on one of my first driving lessons I went too fast on the snowy bend and spinned the car by 180 degree. My instructor completely calm: “Well… If so, then please restart the engine and now we’ll go into that road ahead of us”

bloody hell! im off there in a week or so, but not to the south, so i may well risk taking shorts…

In Poland, you have to be always prepared to some absurd. This are news from yesterday, I am still laughing:

Three tramways entered the junction at the same time, and they blocked each other:

Off course the traffic behind build up quickly, so they could not reverse. Result: half of the town paralysed.

Only in Poland!
:grimacing:

Or because people get a couple of days of snow in the local area and start saying daft things like what happened to global warming

Or because people say that because they see that the estimates were strongly exagerated, and there is no Global Warming, but just the normal fluctuation of climate as we had before several times…
