We sometimes do an 8 -12 Saturday and dont take a break, not had anything back from the Vostapo either yet these training companies keep trying to hit us with duff info.

Hmmmmm are you sure? I thought it was 45 minutes break for every hour under eight hours worked. unless there is an R in the month, then its one hour for lunch after 20 minutes work and less than 2 hours POA :unamused:

No I only do 4.5 hours work a shift these days and have not booked a break for three weeks. No 4.5 hours driving, no 6 hours work in a shift, regardless of length of shift = no break required.

In the office we are ‘taught’ in we have a big poster with the WTD and driving regs, every bit of nonsense he tells i get up and point the rule out on the poster,
“That posters wrong” he tells me, What can you do?

I do realise you’re from Essex but FFS.

Had a call from the agency to check on a question on drivers hours. Someone in a large transport operation who,s initials start with D and end in L had told the agency that a driver who started at 1am and finshed at 7am, could not start another shift at 11pm, because you can’t start 2shifts in the same 24hour period. :-s
