I’m obviously missing something here, in what way is the truck driver the idiot rather than the suicidal fool who cut across the lorries paththat’s exactly what I thought,if the other lorry was going through as well then they obviously had right of way so my guess is the car driver is the idiot who did actually cause an accident,the lorry driver was doing his best to avoid the car,maybe I am wrong but I think the OP needs to re think what he said
The OP didn’t say it, he was repeating it from YouTube and questioning why it was thought the truck driver was the idiot and caused the accident.
Given the fact that the truck in the inside lane was going across the crossing it would indicate that the over turned truck in the middle land had right of way over the car in question
If that was me I would not of swerved out of the way I would of just gone stright forward hammering the brakes in a stright line
After all he/ she did it right! not me or the persons beside me

You say that from the comfort of your chair while watching a video but I would bet if you were In that situation you would not barrel straight on; the natural reaction when something pulls in front of you is to brake and take evasive action. It’s a basic human survival instinct and very difficult to ignore/fight.
These things happen so quickly there is very little time for thought other than survival.

I’m s sorry but that’s a zebra crossing there ,you shouldn’t becapproaching one at that speed especially as the truck on the left would be obscuring you’re view of any pedestrians that may or may not be about too cross the road
Look at the road markings, that’s a traffic light controlled junction, probably why there is a camera there, and the flow of traffic suggest they had the green light.

Unless I’m watching a different video it’s clearly not Australia for 2 reasons;
1, They drive on the left and the video traffic is driving on the right.
2, The flag in the top left is a China flag (on the liveleak video that’s been linked).

What I ill say, is that in those 2 clips, there was top driving from 2 truckers, and crap driving from 2 steering wheel attendance

A car once wandered into my lane in frount of me in my blind spot on the M25/ M23 interchange in thick traffic
I heared a grinding noise like the container had come off
I just braked verry hard and out popped the car under the front of my cab that was facing side wards
But in the blink of an eye I did not swerve across with my stearing wheel I keeped a stright line
After a 2 minute discussion with the other driver we worked out what had happened
there excuse was “ow but we are old you know”
And no one even bothere to stop to see if we where all right the rest of the traffic who witnessed the seen just dove off

In that scenario guess its a shame I did not swerve off in the wrong direction 
I thought only Micheal Jackson started sentences with ow
