Are you indeed, familiar with the comparable phenomenon of the “Thursday Girl” - similar to the 7 Pinter ?
Oh yes.

Oh yes.
This seems common place with BG as this regularly happens to me. Esepecially when leaving their yard after making a delivery.

I’ve known this syndrome get me by Tuesday afternoon…

Are do you (like me) fimd that women seem to get more and more “attractive” in a similar way to when we drink beer ?Are you indeed, familiar with the comparable phenomenon of the “Thursday Girl” - similar to the 7 Pinter ?
I never needed 7 pints, makes me cringe when I think back
Always wondered if women have the same thing… a “7 pinter”?
ffs why do we allow reg nos to be put on here if i put down everything some berk has done to me i would be here all week . and my driving instructor told me to expect someone to do the unexpected as it inevitably will why dont we all have a beer and chill out

Thats probably a DHL driver !!In my opinion most of the drivers that DHL employ are tossers!
You dont normally get a assesment when you turn up there…
As long as your boots fit you , you can drive !!
Who do you think you are, I will have you know some of DHL drivers have been driving for many years and are very good at it . ■■■■■■
i’ve been to BG East Leake 3 times once to load and twice to deliver board from just east of Paris sometime ago 1999 .so if they imported then i bet if they needed to they woulddo it again

I’ve just put the link to your post on the British Gypsum company feedback formDoubt that will do much good, as I’m afraid that is a DHL vehicle.
We supply a large part of the transport for British Gypsum. Part of the deal is we have to have so many vehicles in their livery.
I think that truck is based at either Barrow on Soar or East Leake.
dont hardstaff do some of their transport aswell

Point taken. And you now know where “plaster of Paris” gets it’s name from!

I can asure you that the assessment situation at the NW Leics DHL will change after easter
If you were half way past the slower vehicle, and with someone up your backside I think there is only one way to deal with it.
Gently, and safely apply the brakes so you can pull back in…thus forcing the guy behind to slow down behind you and have to build up his momentum again. Take him longer to overtake, and perhaps he’ll learn his lesson?
Alex
Alex I kinda agree with you and your tactics but the bottom line is the driver behind shouldn’t be so impatient. He was already half way up the trailer when this nob head turned up so the nob head should have held back and shown some professionalism. Its idiots like this that really wind me up.
Nige
In my experience some of the biggest d*ckheads on the road are fellow truckers.
My limiter only goes to 54mph which means I have to hang back on the overtaking, but once its safe to come out if anyone chooses to come too close behind then thats their lookout.
Can flash their lights till they blue in the face.
