It was a very long shot posting it here. I just thought one of my colleagues might recognise it
Just checked one building instead of the photo,
The image appears to show a building, possibly an apartment or hotel complex, in an urban area.
The architecture is modern, with large white panels and prominent vertical windows.
A green sign with white text is visible on the lower left of the building.
Based on search results for similar-looking buildings, it might be located in Birmingham
They do look like hotels
I think that @Beaunydel is close.
Look at Poplin Building, Oldham Rd, Manc. That (for me) is the red building top right.
I don’t think it is Piccadilly. It looks very similar, like a junction off the Mancunian way but don’t think it is.
Good shout there but again I don’t think it is.
I should add.. I haven’t a clue where it is btw

Nearly everything is down south to me, I live near the Scottish border! 
Same here I live in Newcastle so everything is down south to me too. Mind you after nearly 40 years of continental 22 of them living in Germany nothing looks the same here anymore.
