Iceland work?

Anyone can share any experience working for Iceland, i suspect out of somewhere north of London? What does its assessment look like? Edited: Class 1

Thanks in advance

I’ve worked for Iceland in Swindon.
Very hard work.
All over stacked roll cages and pallets.
99.9 of the stores are a nightmare.
Don’t expect delivery access to be in the class of Asda etc.
You will be going down side roads and back streets, making full use of your trailer’s tail lift.
Pushing the cages on uneven concrete, cobbles, rat ■■■■ :open_mouth:
No two stores are the same.
Some will help.
A lot won’t.
Some won’t aknowledge you existence.
Sorry if it sounds off putting but that was my experience from Iceland Swindon.

is it class 2 that you did?

sorry i have not mentioned - i am speaking about class 1

Still the same work.North London depot is Enfield/Edmonton.Their own lads do the trunking and agency get the shops!!

Ok, cheers

I did class one.
They think nothing of sending a 13 metre trailer where I wouldn’t send a transit

Haha this guy got an agency job at our depot after he got bumped from agency at iceland, they found out a week later and was asked never to return  this guy is reason the ‘‘dhl tacho dip’’ is being created ive been told.

You’ll certainly have fun on there.
It’s not all bad.
There are worse about.
Don’t take too much notice of the times on the run sheet.

Cheers, probably will see it nexy week as well as the assessment which i am veimg told is quite difficult

They have a lot of shortish rear steer trailers there’s a shop near a pub I go to and they have a nightmare getting in there.

I was meant to go this year, it didn’t happen tho, long old ferry ride to get there, my pal did it, took a load of cars across for a photo shoot, my missis had been, liked it, said i would too as i like scando in general, no trees tho.

This was nice
