Anyone been ? If so was it ok and something out the ordinary ? Thinking of going there next year for a long weekend as EasyJet fly there dead cheap.

Iceland is worth going to.Hire a car or jeep and see the glaciers and waterfalls.And the volcanic areas.
The capital has a good nightlife.A pint of beer is about £5 to £7.

Thanks Tobes I’ve never eaten Puffin before and not sure I fancy it but I’ve got a big birthday next year and want to go somewhere diverse.
If your birthday is in the winter you could fly to Kiruna,rent a car and travel around Lappland [northern Sweden,Norway and Finland]. There is an amazing amount to see and do and the people are very nice.

No it’s September and kind of got me heart set on Iceland especially after speaking to the Secretary up
my local club who went there this year and raved about it.
Did a couple of rallies there in the early nineties , friendly bunch if a bit mad and as said earlier it’s bloody expensive for a night on the lash .
