Coming up from Geneva Thursday I encountered a frightening ICE Storm!
Lumps of ice rained down from sky!
Most of the car drivers tried to hide under bridges or stopped on hard shoulder.
I had 60ft of truck so nowhere to hide…
Unfortunately I had cars & caravan on open transporter and they all were peppered with dents.
Should make an interesting insurance claim or would it be considered an act of God?

OSSIE, in Germany a few years ago it rained
hailstones and the AUDI;MERCEDES
factory car parks had quite a few well dented cars,
letus know if the claim is allowed or falls under
the act of GOD act,
They have had some weird weather out in Swiss this year.

When the vehicles are left with dents OVER one inch in length it seemed more like lumps of ice!
The sound was quite deafening too.

Hail is ice… The weird weather I was refering to was the extreme heat; Snow in August ; Rock slides ,etc. & of course giant hailstones.
He always comes up with smart comments. Pity he can’t keep them to himself. We’ve had 2 fairly severe tornadoes locally in the last couple of weeks, and they tend to make for serious Ice too. I expect clever ■■■■ will say it was a breezy day and there was a bit of hail. Notwithstanding the fact that 2 people died and houses were demolished.
Don’t sweat it Oss. The insurers will have to pay up under GIT as there was nothing you could do. Under GIT coverage, the only real way they can refuse payment is if they can prove driver negligence.
And most of us know what you mean by ice storms. Was the truck damaged?

. Eeh, ya big girl’s blouse. Oop here in’t Yorkshre we has hailstones the size of television sets. Lick road clean every day etc etc
