Be more specific. You mean the forkie strapped it down after he put it on the trailer?

I think it’s because it’s wonky.

But surely if it’s almost, he would have had the forkie move it, before letting the forkie strap it down?

Dozy thread- he hasn’t posted the pictures of the gaps between the beams, or the overhang the other side of the trailer. Or maybe it’s a picture of a non event?

Yeah pointless not telling the forkie to move it but coming on here moaning about it . :unamused:

So it could well be the case that it shifted as it wasn’t strapped properly…

Forkie not to be blamed at all… whereas the driver ?

My guess would be that nothing has happened, can’t see the rest of the load on the picture.

Lots of weird unique shaped beams/walls etc come out of the main manufacturing site at Worksop. For all we know it could be a giant triangle piece or multiple pieces with and other things on the trailer so has been loaded that way.

In my experience loads are very rarely loaded wrong at Worksop and everything is checked and photographed before it leaves the site, also you can’t get past security if your amount of straps doesn’t tally up with their little sheet that says load x amount of weight = x amount of straps needed.

More often than not you have way too many straps and will never get off site with not enough.

So two things.

  1. The op has brought the trailer down from Worksop to Dagenham and has obviously deemed it safe enough to run with.

  2. He has been told to pick up a trailer at Dagenham to shunt into a site somewhere in London and judging by his straps are already on it has deemed it safe enough to travel with.

I think it would all become clear if he posted a picture of the entire load.

Got to agree totally with FuzzyBhoy the load wouldn’t have left EIP at Worksop if it wasn’t right or strapped correctly and also there’s a possibility this mite have been loaded with a crane too ? Possibly and as has been said it looks like it’s strapped up ready to go to site ! That’s a good load ! U want to see some of Jenga block loads of precast were taking out at the moment that need 12+ straps out of depot I’m based at . U seem to making a mountain out of a mole hill slightly here ! Dozy

Yes it would have been loaded with a crane, can’t ever recall any of the concrete being loaded with forks because of the chance of damaging the product and EIP being health and safety bonkers
