I will not be messed about

So the op took a delivery back so what… oh no wait a minute his company now has an unhappy customer, who in turn may have unhappy customers who may also have unhappy customers and so on. First unhappy customer says to ops firm we won’t be using you again and we won’t be recommending our customers use you.
Drivers turn up for work said concrete block blocking the locked gate and a note attached sorry drivers no work no customers. Good Luck

Wrong pallets get put on all the time be mistake and you’d just have to deal with it, don’t really understand why the pallet being in the form of a concrete block vexed you so much.

Heisenberrg:
Last week my truck was in for an mot…
This morning it was fully loaded with 16 drops along with a 1 ton of concrete block…I’m no expert but I guess the concrete block was needed for the mot…
So it took 40 minutes to get a forkie to take it off and reload accordingly.
My last drop would have taken about 30 minutes to drive to and drop…I brought it back to the depot and told Mr Controller that I couldn’t do the drop because they need to understand that there are consequences to leaving concrete blocks in trucks…why should I give up 30 minutes of my time at home because they can’t be bothered to do the job.
Needless to say he wasn’t happy.
So I showed him the photos and told him that I wasn’t sure whether It was right to leave a concrete block on a truck but that I was happy to drive to a vosa check point and ask their opinion…
Obviously his reaction was ok …see you tomorrow drive…
Am I a grumpy old git or have I made a valid point to my employer ?

BOTH!
